I feel bad for Kim. she loved Chris first, then gets pushed aside by Ellen. Then Chris watches Kim prepare for her wedding, to her childhood friend who is soooo jealous of her loving Chris....what a vicious circle!

@Krystal Harwood Well it's actually Gigi singing the first part; Ellen doesn't come in until towards the end of the first act, I think. Ellen is Chris' wife in America, this is set in the Engineer's brothel in Vietnam, basically.

Go blow your nose; you're crazy! She sounds brilliant just like the original show. You can't understand this musical unless you grew up with what was going on in Viet Nam. There has never been another war were we treated our soldiers like trash. So sad that it took 20 years for them to be recognized for their duty and the pain they suffered and many still do.
