My husband committed suicide on Thanksgiving this year and we used to watch Sons together a lot. My brother started playing the show again where he had left off, but didn't know that it would affect me the way it did. He felt terrible, but the episode actually helped me a lot. I feel Opie's pain and felt totally responsible for my husband's death as Opie had with Donna. This song was played at his funeral and he had his toboggan on since he never went anywhere without it. This song has helped me to get through a lot of the mess that ensued as well as climb back up to start making changes in my life worthy of making Richard proud of me.7 years ago
