I would have loved for them to continue on this experimental route. Unfortunately, with their newest album they have returned to the same style they were doing before… that's a step backwards, in my opinion.

OK, once you get over the purist urge to hate everything on this album, you discover that this song is actually pretty good, not their best but still good and still Sonata, even if it's very different from old Sonata(even very different from Unia/Days of Grays Sonata).

They sure sound different. The question is just how much Jani`s departure had to do with this. I think the changes was inevitable, since it`s what the band wanted. I like TDOG and SGHN, but that is subjective i guess.
