I love this song, have for years since hearing it at the age of 13. Geekette like myself loved all the victim stuff, about all of which applied then. Practised it on an upright and drove the folks batshit (or maybe that was the Skynyrd) after being chased home from school. Why would I tell a bunch of strangers this? Simple: some couplets are exceptionally good, some are acceptable, and some are cheese. Metallica might choose the best and dump the rest. Like me. Over 'n out. Still, great song.

Despite my previous comments a man's gotta give respect to a band that actually credits it's influences. My respect is lifted for sure to Metallica for acknowledging their influences especially what I consider to be the best band in the world (NAZARETH). Thank you Metallica for admitting your influences instead of being like some other bands ones that start with an A in particular that don't really give the Naz any credit where the Naz were one of their main influences.
