Someone said and I quote "This song is like a glass breaking in slow motion". I remember reading this. I just stilled. Those were the words I had been looking for, but couldn't seem to find till that moment I came across that very description. It sums it up perfectly, if we speak of this song in general. When I first heard this song a few years ago, I was completely lost. In a positive way, of course. It had me speechless, I was completely smitten with it. What's more, given I'm not native English speaker, I barely could make out what Robert was singing due to wind chimes and Robert's voice echoing. Still, the music alone was able to pull me in. Than I looked up the lyrics online, and......I was amazed how powerful the song is. It's anything but plain. Maybe it its structure, but it wasn't literal, and it was stuck in my head for days. It still haunts me whenever I hear it. Still not able to form an opinion on what it might be about. Like really, really about. Thank you Robert for this masterpiece.
