@RapIsDeadly I saw your comment about the new movies taking a lot of the Bond out of well... Bond. And the thing is, they kind of have to. It was totally okay back then to have James Bond treat women like shit. But you can't do that anymore. Not only because now people realize it was wrong to do so, but also because that's not attractive to the ladies. It made sense for Bond - who is a ladies' man - to treat them a little better, because that's what women expect now.

Not going to disagree that Hollywood is definitely going out of their way to display gays, but I think in this case it isn't clear that Silva is homosexual. Basically everything about him throws Bond off balance and is meant to unnerve him, disrupt him from his usual unruffled state, and the possibility is one facet of that. It's a good Bond villain who poses a threat to Bond's life; it's an excellent Bond villain who poses a threat to Bond's composure.

Why the hate against LGBT? I'm a supporter. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious. Have an excellent day!

Well if I'm correct about my assumption, I'm not even sure Silva is gay. He was probably just doing it to press Bond's buttons. The threat of rape was just there to mentally torture his victim and keep him guessing about what's next.

That's your opinion and I can see your side on that. I hope your right. There is such a huge gay agenda now in Hollywood and this nonsense just needs to stop. Why even have the villain be gay? More gay promotion....using a Bond movie as a means to push their agenda.

Silva was coming on to Bond and you could clearly see that it was making him uncomfortable. I think he was implying that he was bi to defuse the whole situation. It's kind of like calling someone gay and they just respond with "Yeah". There's really nowhere to go after that.

In the last Bond movie. When he was tied up in the chair talking to the gay villain. Bond made a reference that he swung both ways. This scene was despicable...it went against everything Bond stood for. I'm sure the director of this movie is just part of Gay Hollywood.

When did they make Bond bisexual?

I totally agree that pushed me over the edge too, I mean I know it's 2013 but it's not Bond

Yeah....that was always a bright spot to look forward to in a Bond movie. I'm not really a fan of the "new" Bond movies. They're good...but they took a lot of what Bond OUT of the movies. They also made Bond bisexual...which really went too far.
