Zvi Meniker opens the show of 28 februari 2010 with Fantasie in c-minor, BWV 906 for klavecimbel solo, written by J.S. Bach.

A harpsichordist, organist and fortepianist, Meniker was born in Moscow and raised in Israel. Having begun advanced musical studies at the age of 15, he received diplomas with distinction from the Salzburg Mozarteum and the Zurich Academy of Music before moving on to the United States to study with Malcolm Bilson, Cornell professor of music.

Meniker commands a wide repertoire on his three instruments ranging from late medieval works to 20th century compositions and has won numerous awards at international competitions. He currently teaches harpsichord, fortepiano and performance practice at the Hannover Conservatory (HMT Hannover).

Of course, he knows what to do, but he does it way too fast - in result melody blurs in faster parts... and at 0:53 the right hand seems to play wrong notes. This is royal-like piece and should be played in more solemn and slower manner.

He does some very advanced stuff on the instrument. The part where he plays the keys a bit lighter just be4 returning to the main theme and finale is great. Most people who plays music their whole life don't have these skills.
