The drums in that intro are so creative! Jesse Smith is certainly one of the best and most innovative drummer I've ever heard.

@aagoth ? huh? members of this band playing here were Dan Weyandt(vox), Brett Detar(guitar), Russ Cogdell(guitar) and Jesse Smith(drums). The Original band (aka those that really had the "fire for god" as you said) included Jesse Smith and none of the guys in this video. The other original members were Eric Reeder, Roy Goudy, bassist Mic Cox and they released All Else Failed and Splinter Shards.... The band above released Where Blood And Fire Bring Rest. After that they added Scott Mellinger

@numba1fattboy2k NO.. we are very vile creatures. u just dont realize just how bad goin out of GOD'S will is.. many christians dont.. i dont! im not tlkin bout japan im tlkin bout peronally.. We are evil creatures by nature. if we were in hell and God reached down his hand. we would slam the door. we deserve eternity in hell. (all of us do) the only goodness we have is cuz of GOD. and even though we're hateful GOD did away with being just and had mercy! Love doesnt mix with just. HE is love

Now, on that note, Dan mentioned one time that the biggest enemy of christians is often other christians, and that's what sometimes ruins it for those who can't find a way to believe in god. I'd say that this band did a damn good job at providing a good example of what to be. Damn good musicians that can uplift people in a positive way. They didn't exclude fans and did their own thing.

@beeftownz Oh, I so agree with this. After all, the godless Japanese didn't deserve half an ocean of water in their homes, but by God's grace, they sure got all the water they could ever need. He sure is merciful. Maybe YOU deserve nothing, but if God is going to put me on this earth, he better damn well provide me the means to live. If you can't take care of your dependents, you don't deserve praise.

@Vader0325 do you know u can live and do everything for Gods honor and glory as it says in the bible?how?when was the last time you drank a glass of water and knew, acknowledged that it was a gift from God, a blessing he has given to you, that you dont deserve, that you will return to him in praise.if u do that ur drinking the water in his glory thanking him for it or using it for him, there can be a ministry for everything if in the end Gods in your heart.we deserve nothing, but hes so mercyfull

strange. if this was in early summer 98 (like june or july maybe?) this was the show my friends were going to play. they were in a band called New Ethic, and they got into a car wreck on the way there. one friend died and another is paralyzed. so weird to see this.
