Well said. the IRA were catholic, however they were clearly not the whole of catholicism, even if many people forget the atrocities that happened in the name of catholicism. The IRA, like al-Qaida were terrorists who acted in the name of religion, however, unlike al-Qaida who some people think is all of Islam, no one ever thought that the IRA was all of catholicism.
