Totally right!!! They are obviously not as heavy, but their song writing has improved ten fold. That really means a lot to me. In addition they should be respected for improving so much as musicians. Listen to the singers voice and vocal movements compared to the old stuff. WOW!!! I honestly CAN see the Muse comparison (especially how the verse starts) and the guitar scale at the first part of the verses. ROCK ON TAPROOT!

Of course they don't. It's a combination of the three stirred into a pot, melded around, mixed, washed, rinsed and repeated. In all actuality, that was perhaps a horrible example of bands to compare them to (probably because I wasn't 'all here' at the time of writing that particular comment two days ago), but it is quite safe to say that they've gone from heavy to unsteady. It sounds like most anything else coming from bands of "this kind" today... There was a time when they were original.

After their first two albums, they completely went by the wayside. It's a shame, too, because these guys would always put out unique and heavy-hitting music, until they just hit a dead end where everything became completely bland. Stick to what you guys are known for and break out some hard-hitting jams! Stop trying to combine Green Day and Muse and The Killers into one album, and play what made you guys famous!

they still being a kick ass band but i cant lie that i miss the hard stuff the real taproot with poem again and again mirrors reflection mine etc but this is nice too
