I can't believe people are still talking about the internal problems the Supremes had as they rose to fame. Truth be told, no one will ever know the whole truth except the parties involved. Quite frankly, I'm sick of the whole discussion. How about we just remember the Supremes for the wonderful music they made and leave it at that. The group will always be remembered for their music, and for the three ladies who made the music: Flo, Mary, and Diana!

I don't think the real in depth detail will be told because she's dead. Flos life was a rollercoaster and in her last days she was writing a book what happened to it no one knows. I really believe the truth was in it and in old newspaper articles she admitted to being in and out of hospital, drinking having depression and insomnia. But in one she said she felt god over her and after that everything was smooth sailing until she died and if her not aware she and Diane reconciled from 1970!

I don't think that you'll ever hear Mary or Diane say those things. I think that Mary just forgets some things. Diane's lies seem more calculated to me. She is always trying to enhance HER legacy. Mary can be somewhat candid at times........at others, she is very tight lipped. I guess that she worries about the group's legacy. Maybe both have learned that things said have a way of getting out there, misconstrued, and misinterpreted. I wouldn't hold my breath for a reunion at this point.

I agree..........some of those old stories are still being told by Diane: "Flo left to start a family and that the name was changed to make more money!" LOL Oh, well, we can put 2 and 2 together! I spoke to Mary briefly in Lancaster on Friday evening. I went backstage with another "A" fan and she was walking out the door to catch a plane to Georgia, Mitch Ryder and members of The Association were already waiting in the car. We just said hello and hugged...no gabbing like we usually do!
