There's only one band that I've heard that is pleasant to my ears that I could say is current, from this decade I believe, The Unknown Mortal Orchestra, but apart from that, nothing. Sorry for not having your same exact taste, jackass! xD

"You seem to enjoy being miserable". <hahaha funny guy. No need to get your panties up in a bunch just cause I don't like any of todays music. People like you have an erroneous idea that we like music from back then cause it's "old" but no sir, we love it cause it was GOOD! and put it along side anything from today and there's no comparison. Now if you like todays crap, good for you. My loss? bwahaha, HILARIOUS!

Well that's your loss then. The large majority of my favorite music indeed comes from the 70s, but that was due to an advent of style, not talent. You seem to enjoy being miserable, so I'll leave you to it. I'll go head and continue to enjoy good music from all eras, past and present, without letting silly prejudice cloud my judgment. My apologies for interrupting the YouTube Midlife Crisis Support Group.

Listening to the radio? haha PLEASE!!! I have a huge collection of records from the 60's and 70's and some from the 50's that my parents, aunts and uncles passed down to me, and as far as I know they don't play none of that on the damn RADIO! xD

Eh, WRONG! I HAVE been looking but I'm not gonna go out of my way and try to convince myself that something is GOOD if it really isn't. Music appeals to you instantly, and should not be imposed on anyone. NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING appeals to me about this shit generation. Why kid myself? Musical acts were teeming with talent back then. When did I say I don't like Disco/Pop or stuff like that? I'm well aware of it and now unless you lived in those times, you have no idea.

If you think that there isn't good music being made today, you're simply not looking. Stop listening to the radio and start listening to music festivals. The 60s, 70s, and 80s were full of synth and pop hooks as well. Maybe you forgot about disco and ABBA?

I think it's preposterous to say there are "a lot of" good bands around today. You could probably count them with one hand, and even then, if you compare them with bands from the yesteryears, they end up being shite as well.

Man I love this kind of music. Rock and Roll baby. Lived it, love it!!!!! MUSIC TODAY IS NOT LIKE THIS!!!

People have been saying that since the renaissance but still as each generation passes we remember their music. Open your ears there is lots of good music about today, many of which is just as good if not better than this.
