Loved this anime. Still my favorite. What I got from the ending was, that first, the new world, or current world we live in, IS paradise. Secondly, everyone had to die to get into paradise. And third, Blue never got in because she was only part-wolf. But she died doing something she felt very strongly about at least. And lastly, Darcia didn't get in for obvious reasons, but his eye staining the purity of the water, means that even in paradise, there will always be evil.

I had only started watching the anime when my mom died. Oddly enough I think the person who handled music at the funeral home also saw the anime. They played the piano version of this at the wake. No one knew the song except me.. I thought it very fitting..
