So sad that Yes has lost the first member of its large family. One can only wonder what would have transpired had Yes decided not to use the orchestration on Time And A Word...the reason Pete left the band. He was a great guitarist in his own right, and it's sad that the world has lost another great musician.

Always.I was the jerk who shouted out "Oh yeah" on the "Clap".They lost me after the Yes Album.Not the same attack and immediacy,bite and cutting edge of Banks' guitar.

This was recorded in 68 or 69. They were running in the psychedelia vein as they always have. The words were poetry, the music classically structured, all of them great musicians in their own right. When Howe and Wakeman joined, they exploded, years and years ahead of their time. But what music. From heaven it came and to God I am grateful for every note. Amen.
