If Yamaha had made a THR10 with 5 empty spots so you could download amp models of your own choosing... they'd sell like hot cakes.

The brown mode's don't sound brown! It sound's processed but if that's your thing it's ok, feature's over tone, but a good price.

Geee Wzzz

Does not line out like it sounds, I was hoping it would.I lined out to two amps using headphone out. Not impressive.Would sound great double micd. This is billed as a practice amp , for that I'd say it's the best I've heard. Not a bunch of line6 , Boss et al empty promises, it makes them look like idiots, right out of the box the thr10x sounds great.Amazing sounds on it's own, 'surround feel' using Reverb (not delay/reverb),can't seem to replicate that depth with any other settings. You can go chorus on theother effect knob along with the reverb, amazing. I'm using Brown1 and Brown2There is a harshness upon pick attacks, like you're getting lots of fret buzz, I set treb to 0 , seemed to allieviate it a bit, could also be I have a lot of fret buzz in part...:shruggs:.Using the thr10x to play a backing track or mp3etc is amazing, good as a decent little boom box.Needs pedal switching capability.
