It's a bit sad that she was forced to put a layer of 80 over this, this would have been way better as a... less dated dreamy electro thing (See ADP), but I still don't see why exactly that first record flopped. Her later work had more uniqueness value (which is something that happens when people grow up and insist on creative freedom), but this was awesome, I love that slightly melancholy, dreamy atmosphere of the first record, a bit like the sonic equivalent of a glass castle or something.
