When Davey first go into music he said he always wanted to be in a hardcore band AFI was not hardcore they were are awesome but not hardcore Xtrmst definitely fits the mold

In all honesty, this is a million times better than anything AFI has come out with in recent years. Production-wise, it's very interesting and fairly unconventional, I like it. Although I like Davey Havok's poppier stuff too, it's nice to see him returning to just screaming his ass off, it's surprisingly pleasant to hear, lol.
