The studio version of this song is certainly one the best-produced recordings in all of rock and roll, but this stripped-down version just proves what incredible singers they are. Hard not to think of Lennon/McCartney.

I lived through the 1980's and MTV but only learned of this song in the 2000's thanks to a channel called COOLTV and the show 80's at Eight. It played both versions of the video over and over.
