This song is masterful. It has everything I like and maybe some more than I expected. I know when a song is great - when, I start dancing around the room and not even noticing myself. Plus, I knocked over the lamp with a kick. Bad-Ass

that is to say, as long as there is a difference in more then just the name. Industrial attracts a lot of people who are used to be the only one who listens to their genre, i feel like once they get on you tube with other fans they feel the need to keep up the facade that it's uniquely "their" genre. That's just what I've found, but you raise a good point about the use of terms and sub-genres to define music

You actually raise a good point, I don't have a problem with genres as long as rthey add something to the concept.

I don't, think of how many different words there are for 'sky' in the world. It seems perfectly reasonable that when you create a new style of music, then put it out into the world, that people from different places and cultures will give it different names.

...do fans really need to argue over whether whether a particular track is Cyber-Goth, Gothic-Industrial or Post-Industrial Goth?

Eric Visser

While he sounds a little pompous, I do agree with the sentiment.

i am so glad bands like this are still going strong, been a fan of cyber/industrial and the other 500 names people call it now since i was a kid in the 80's.
