Xenosaga has such an awesome soundtrack and plot, but the gameplay was not always good.Episode I had a nice battle system and I liked the original nerdy look of Shion. Episode II sucked royally, changed the designs, the voices, and has the worst gameplay of the trilogy. Episode III is the best of them, the gameplay is fun both with the characters and the ES. Sadly, happened just as in Xenogears disc 2. The last game had to be rushed and the story was not told properly. In the last game you have to collect pieces of a kind of wiki, to understand everything behind the game. It is sad because it could have extended to 4 or 5 games to tell all the story.PD: Stay away from the anime, is terrible.

It's really upsetting to know that not a lot of people know about Xenosaga. It truly is a masterpiece, it's up there with Final Fantasy and sometimes I find myself saying it's better than most FF stories or RPG games I've played. I hate comparing Xenosaga to other games but I wish people would give it a chance or would've given it a chance when it came out. Reading these comments make me sad because everyone just came here because they got "lost" on youtube. I'm just a die hard Xenosaga fan and the community is basically nonexistent, and honestly I think that's why I'm venting it out in this comment section lol. But tl;dr I wish everyone could experience the pain and the beauty that Xenosaga gives.
