Answer to "hewides": exactly my opinion! I loved Wishbone Ash over whatever i could tell! So painful to listen for instance what they dare to present as "Live Dates 3"! I would even not say they are a good rocking band....

@vionlonchello As you can imagine: i am no boy (and if maybe much older then you). The songs from their heydays are ageless (so it´s no matter of "time") ! If you read my profound critic you see i am a Fan (still), and maybe Muddy is also a fine player but my expectations to this band have grown over ages - but they´re gone. A good rockin Band today, thats sure, but not more.

To hewides, I can't believe your comment! Get yourself to a Wishbone Ash gig and I think you would change your mind about Andy with Muddy Manninen. He is easily up there with those guys you mentioned IMO.

Just good Rockmusic, but far away from the class which Wishbone Ash were in their best times. Andy is a great guy, a very fine guitar player, but Wishbone Ash were always magic to me, the twin guitars, the songs etc. So it was not Andy, it was Andy with Ted, with Laurie, with Roger, with Mark - sad that Andy has no equal player in his band since years.
