I've gotta say the comparison to other hair bands is just dead wrong. Winger has A LOT more to offer musically than other hair bands. They're really more of a progressive hair metal band if you think about it. Listen to the song "Rainbow in the Rose" and tell me ONE Bon Jovi or Ratt song that sounds like that.

I concur. If people want this music to come back then they need to support the bands who are playing it! If you want hear a new band that is truly glam, then you should check out the band De La Cruz. They're from Australia and they're not signed yet, but they sound amazing.

@perpetual61 bon jovi was a pretty boy too but with the right management they went places. Kip was horrible in hiring the right management......they couldve been so much more......but you are still right in that they werent taken seriously......its a shame too...

@adrianmarsglam And I could say the same thing about Winger. What makes them sound any different than Ratt or Dokken or Warrant or Bon Jovi? Not much. They all sound the same to me. When I listen to this song I hear Steven Pearcy or Jani Lane or even Paul Stanley of KISS. At least bands like Crashdiet and The Poodles and Crazy Lyxx are "trying" to bring back some form of hair metal. Most '80's hair metal bands have given up or sold out...a.k.a. Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.

@spiderdragon1969 Dude, I can say the same damn thing about nickelback. Man, we should expect some quality and well performance from artists! It was basic in the 80s. Now it isn't. No disrespect for you man, but the bands you mentioned are just cheap copycats doing their stuff in the easiest way that could be ever done.

@Link16191619 "great bands" fapdiet and hardcock spermstar? Sorry man, they suck. They just ripped the looks and they claim they're glam. It's called sleaze and it sucks major cock. modern metal riffs, crappy singing, no vocal harmonies or epic chromatic riffs (like in RATT, Dokken or Winger) and definitely no great solos like in this epic Winger song. Only Steel Panther does the good job from the new bands today
