With all due respect to the five Beat Actress nominees of 1975, Marilyn Hassett deserved to be among them. Watched this movie again today, hadn't seen it in many years. Very enjoyable. Sticks with you.

I'll never forget the first time I saw this in a theatre. A girl in the row behind me BURST into loud tears when the scene went from the father getting the news of the boyfriends death to Marilyn Hassett weeping.
