Not only are you guys so obviously correct, but this, although I love it, is from a time when their sound was almost indistunguishable from Son Volt. I'm glad they have grown and developed as a band, and I think it's OK to enjoy their whole catalog without feeling the need to play I was a Wilco fan before you were a Wilco fan. I try to make new Wilco fans every day. Tell me Tweedy is any less earnest now. If anything I think he's more honest with himself now than ever.

When I was a teen I loved Wilco so much. Their "new"(anything after 2000) music is garbage. I wish they would've changed their name with their sound so I never had to have heard this song.

@HeartfeltDawn I have to agree on their evolution not being for the better. It seems like they turned into a jam band in their later albums, which are full of songs with 4 lines of lyrics and 4+ minutes of rambling instrumentals.

@HeartfeltDawn Well IMO, I love Wilco, Whole Love and Sky Blue Sky. Wilco is definately one of those bands that have evolved over the years. So it's hard to say one is better than the other when most of them aren't the same genre.
