Jimie parked our old worn-out truck in front of the building at the edge of town. A freight train went unabated and sent us straight in the face all that dust and debris carrying this lousy boone's dock's misery.We pushed the flight cases inside the bistro. Saying that the place was a derelict sounds like an understatement ... This bar had obviously known a certain glory in the last gold rush. Since, TV, packs of beers from 7/11, rural exodus, porn movies rental and internet had been there ...We wanted to play 'Americana', we were in the middle of the true Nowhere ... We gave it all amongst the drunken freak show... All the lobotomized inbred and their winos retard cousins were there! Even that chubby pig screaming all night "Raw hide! Raw hide!" ...I have sung for the waitress ... I gazed at her all the way down "Stand by your man" and she smiled so widely she cracked her cheap lipstick . At the end she brought us beers offered by the innkeeper not so dissatisfied ...She told me: "Where are you from ..."I told her: "San Diego..."She replied: "It must be beautiful San Diego ... And it is far ..."Then she said nothing.We pushed our flight cases towards the exit.A tire burst on the way back.Tomorrow, will be kings at the Hollywood Bowl ...
