I'm a personal friend of Bernie and fair play to them getting as much of the original (and best) line up as they can to have a bit of fun and play some old songs in tribute. Robert is not a DC wannabe, having worked with him myself he's a fantastic singer if you see/hear him live and a damn pleasure hang around with. Whitesnake isn't just Coverdale, alot of the early stuff was co-written with Bernie. Coverdale might have been the voice but Marsden and the others gave him the best music ever.

I'd refer you to the post somewhere below, impromptu gig, to pay tribute to Tony Ashton. So you never saw the best/classic line-up then? And only the sub-par hair metal band in it's various incarnations since, shame. Sad to see a classic line-up member trying to relive past glories with a truly souless band. Sorry mate but what you've been listening to since 84 ain't real either, nors DC since his voice turned to mush.

Painful to listen to. I'm a massive Whitesnake fan, saw the line-up of Coverdale, Powell, Galley, Sykes, Lord & Hodgkinson here for 2 nights in Dublin in 1984 on the Slide It In tour, & several times since. Much respect to Jon Lord (R.I.P.), Bernie Marsden, Neil Murray, Ian Paice & Micky Moody, but this is sad to see former WS members trying to relive past glories with a truly awful DC wannabe! Coverdale IS Whitesnake, simple as!

The guy, Robert Hart, was the singer for late era Bad Company, this was a fairly impromtu gig, as such i suspect little rehearsal was carried out. Personally i'd rather have Stefan Berggren or Tony Martin, I never did much like vocal copyists like Lande.

This line up should've used Jorn Lande as their singer. He sounds more like Coverdale than Coverdale himself these days. The guy who "sings" in this vid sounds awful, and he's out of tune and all over the feckin' place!

As much as the musicians here were the very core of my favourite Whitesnake line up, the band also revolved around a top notch front man with a great blues voice. This guy sounds like a pissed up jakeball at a two bit kraoke.
