Incomparable, Vic Berton on drums. This is the man whom Louis Armstrong called the greatest of all drummers.

@SemperPh. I think, it's a mellophone. Not too frequent, these days. Tom Gerunovitch's "My gal Sal" has a nice mello solo, too. By Jack Woody, as far as I know.
