Bringing the bass to a luthier? ;-) Well, I like a bit of buzz on the fretboard 'cause it increases the bass growling attittude (that was particularly true for the Sabre). I'd say that at first the neck must be set (it shouldn't be bent as an arch) then you can adjust the saddles height as it suits you the most
