It sends me back nostalgically to the time when I was gullible enough to take comfort in the imaginary friend she's singing to, and accept that "Jesus Christ / has found us now / and he'll never let you goooooooooooo..." I get to feel like a genius simply for outgrowing that. Therefore, I love it. Not much of a compliment to Ms Grant, I'm afraid: "Hey, I love your song! It reminds me of how easily I used to be taken in!"
