I don't know how this guy made a living as a talking singer, cuz if tone def people and if you go listen to Elvis sing this you will cry with goosebumps all over. That's why Frank disliked him cuz he knew he could not touch him singing or as an entertainer.

What an unbelievably crappy rendition of this dramatic song. No idea why Sinatra is called a great singer when I listen to this...... No range, no emotion, singing like he's ordering coffee...... in New York ofcourse. Maybe I will look up some more Sinatra to prove me wrong ;)

Frank Sinatra could create excitement like no other singer I have ever heard. It seems that he could sing even the lamest of songs and make it sound listenable. This clip here is just another example of how methodical Frank's approach to music was; he almost always brought the song to a climax the second time around. Also, if you listen closely, he often imitated a horn with long protracted consonant sounds -seen here at 1:44 with "now that you've gon-nnnne". He was truly unique!
