What a performance. There's a certain kind of aggression in this that shows that they were still an up and coming band. They were playing like they meant it, and then some. If i was an adult back then, I would have been floored by the showmanship here.

Wow, I remember watching this in high school when it aired. The performance and song blew me away. I went to a record store after school the next day and bought the album. I feel it is one of the last great albums the US and England put out in rock and roll. Weezer never made an album as good as their first. One of the last albums without filler either. Also, this was one of Conan's first shows, back when his self-deprecating humor was actually funny and not beaten to death. Good times.

Pork and beans & island in the sun are the only good ones. i think the affect was that Rivers's voice changed a bit over the years and it made a bit of a difference when Sharp left and they got that dumbass leopard skinned guitar strapped fool Scott Shriner.

Well, people have different tastes in music. I'm guessing you don't like the change in Weezer. I'd agree with you on the first 4, the rest would be Red, Hurley, Make Believe, Raditude. I liked Raditude's single, though.

Personally, I think every album after Maladroit was garbage. If I had to rate Weezer albums, it'd probably go like this. 1. Pinkerton 2. Blue 3. Maladroit 4. Green BIG DROP OFF 5. Make Believe 6. Red 7. Hurley 8. Raditude I really don't understand how anyone could think their albums from 2005 onward are good, ESPECIALLY not Hurley or Raditude but whatever floats your boat.
