I think this song is about boy/dope. Pins and needles is a term to describe the euphoric feeling, "she's in my arm, she's in my heart," etc. I could connect all the lyrics easily. Any thoughts?

I always thought the album version sucked. But I've got to say I really like it now cause underneath all the muckiness there's some weird, emotional stuff present. I still like this one better though; really chilly and trance inducing.

There is a live version on Painting the Town Brown as well as this one on the DVD. I think the Painting the Town Brown version may have been with the country band, but my memory might be failing me. Between the country versions of songs on that album, and the Toronto live show - an amazing live album! -- I might be confused. Either way an amazing song to hear live and on the Pod.
