I have a Pangborn bass, carbon fibre neck which was made for me by Ashley in 1986/7. The pickups I think were made by Kent Armstrong (could be wrong on that) and I have the cheaper Schaller bridge and no custom facing wood. I don't play like Mark King but all the "Shot in the Dark" recordings on my channel use the Pangborn.

I can't believe there are no owners of Pangborn basses on YouTube. Why? I, and I'm sure many people, would love to hear them. Does anyone have any info on the electronics and pickups used on them because they sound so sweet and unique. I want one!!!!
