I love Waylon. But whether you like Kris' voice or not, when you listen to Kris sing them you realize that only Kris can sing his songs and bring out the soul that they were meant to have.

yeh, i know what ya mean. it's easier to sing along with kris if you can get your vocals pretty low. a couple of beers helps. lol. kris himself has admitted that he used to drink quite a bit before a show for confidence. at the first show he ever played without drinks first, he told the audience: "this is the first show i've ever done sober since.....well, this is the first show i've ever done sober". lol.
