So what defines a cougar anyway? I love David Cook and his music and certainly his pre idol music. Why do people have to have labels. Why can't we all love David for everything that he is without labels and negative comments. I am sure we all want to see him rise higher and higher and it will take all of us to get him there.

LOL @ the grandmas and cougars comments....I am a grandma and definitely in the age group for cougars, though I HATE the term. I am 53 years old and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this music! Thanks so much for posting this one, it's great to hear any and all early Cook stuff!! :) He's simply amazing!

Well, I'm not a "cougar" but I'm over 50 and I love this. It's my favorite song! Analog Heart appeals to a lot of my friends and we're all grandmas n cougars, age wise. I guess what I'm saying is don't count us out. We grew up on heavy rock. David's own musical style works for us.

This has been on my mind. Does everyone really hear it as "heard the call," and "took the heat?" It hits my ear as "I heard the gun but never started running, I took the hit and I never saw it coming." Am I the only one? It seems to fit with "bombs."

i really like david cooks before american idol style. ive heard a lot of axium or axiom whatever. and i really dig their sound. (im a huge tantric fan and thats what they sound like) but this new cd of his. its not to rocky so much as it is mainstream rock pop?? i dont know. hes still very talented but i perfer this type of rock.

this is my favourite axium song! i really can´t believe they didn´t make it big! probably you need a lot of promotion or you have to sign adesion contracts with the record companies just wondering ! hopefully david´s keeping his style, LOVE HIM x

Does someone have full lyrics for this? It's one of my favorite Axium songs... How I wish we'd have a studio recording of this. It's one of the last songs David did with the band, and he wrote it on his own, so I sort of see it as early AH rather than late Axium.
