I miss Warren so much. He was a musical genius and a tortured soul, and I loved both of those things about him.

Since there are, and will perpetually be 'millions of people that hear Linda Rondstat sing Warren Zevon songs, who will have no idea that Linda Rondstat did not write those songs, then there is obviously a pertinent fact about those recordings which will NOT BE OBVIOUS to millions of people who just listen to Ms. Rondstat, and never heard of Warren Zevon. Only people who appreciate Zevons genius, appericiate that type of trivia, yeah it's trivia, or it's money making royalty data. Over &out.

when you have anything of substance to say about the information here, that is exchanged by people who have verifiable, information of interest in regards to Warren Zevon, I am sure it will be a very cold day in Broward County, Fla.,.. Compton, CA,.. or wherever you have hacked in to somneones wi-fi from your converted 14 foot U-Haul truck. Good luck with that, really..

Ain't you glad Warren graced us for a bit? He made us drink more, but so what? I actually knew the old boy in his latter years, and I can attest: he loved a cocktail

Warren's birthday is coming up Thursday, Jan 24th. It brings back the old tug at my heart of his greatness being taken away from us too early. He had a song for every faze of my life, be it love-life, work-life, or home-life. None greater, and on his birthday, it's comforting to let him into my life for an encore.

I totally agree that this song is "Classic". Warren Zevon was one of the greatest rock and roll lyricists of all time. I think Warren's songs were a bit too intellectual, or controversial for most of the masses. Most people listen to rock with the adage, it must have a good beat, or can I dance to it? This was unequivocally one of the best love songs ever written about loss. LIke "Carmelita", Warren's songs provoked thought because of their depth in interpretation.

And,...one last thing. Props to David Letterman for having Zevon on as much as he did, from early on, till Warrens final days.
