To be fair to this person, if he's done a vocal cover then he definately needs feedback. He can only improve through constructive criticism. It might of been a little obnoxious to post his link on the video, but at the end of the day you don't have to watch it. You're all being a little hard on someone who is just a fan trying to aspire to be like a singer he admires.

Yo dipshit, I as a matter of fact do write my own music, I just don't post it on youtube because it won't get any attention unless I make a big campaign of it, which at this time i'm not willing to do. My channel is mainly for scraps and boredom (as it explains). Anyway, there's no harm promoting stuff that could do with further promoting... I don't get any money outta it like.

Usually when an artist does a solo project it is to express something that does not fit within the scope of the band. IMHO some of the tracks do have a NM vibe, you may already know that Loomis does some guitar work on Messenger.
