Yeah, that last sentence is a good point. I always wondered why they didn't keep on producing more psychedelic-hard-rock songs. Nothingface to Outer Limits are albums that made a difference from what the world had listenend to before. They also show to everyone just how good this band worked together in focussing their common creativity and originality. This has got soul, from the visual artistry to the last note played. Thanks Voivod, thanks Away - this will live on for a long time.

The Rush influence is so vividly present here, it's astonishing, Why this album never made it is such a mystery to everyone, well,,,at least we can enjoy.

Such an underrated album, even by Voivod fans. This album grows on you like a fungus, its like a fine wine, it gets better and better. The demos of this album are as dark and moody as anything I ever heard. The entire album flows perfectly, the tracks are perfectly chosen to make the album so unique...Lets not forget these guys almost got lynched when this album came out..so many people hated the album, the guitars on this album are amazing.

An album with a very much "Voivod-ish" rock approach, maybe a horror to some. Even though Atmosphere always has been an important issue in their releases, I believe this album strengthened their atmospheric agenda and the result was... brilliant!
