Not trying to diss you or VIM, but sampling was pretty easy if you had a sampler (e.g. Akai S1000, Roland S550) and a VHS recorder and a telly, which lots of people had in 1991. We even had a PC to edit with, although it ran at 25Mhz and had 4mb of Ram.

Thought I'd search this out in memory of the great lady. This isn't the version I remember but it still makes me laugh as it did back in '91. I could be mistaken but wasn't it Maggie who legalised the raves? The government and the Po Po were fighting a losing battle on illegal raves in warehouses in the middle of nowhere at the end of the '80's and was costing them an arm and a leg to try and shut them down - not to mention the man power displaced to try and deal with the problem. God bless her!
