I agree with you it wasnt like the comics but Raimi did the best he could sony forced him at the last minute maybe if he liked venom and had more time it would be well done

@jonnemesis11: The amount of villains wasn't really a problem, it was the execution of them, so I think both Raimi and Sony are to blame. Sandman would have worked better if he was in cahoots with Harry in exchange for money for his sick kid if they still wanted to incorporate that.

i hate sony! sam raimi was forced to put venom in the movie and that's why its just too much plot for a movie, i think they should have used harry as secondary villian, sandman as the main villian and also having the simbiote. Having all the plot with sandman and harry and then harry forgiving peten and helping him to defeat sandman. then peter takes off the black suit in the church and then in one after credits scene make eddie to the church and becoming venom, thumbs up if you like the idea

@spidye777 thats true and probably if sony didnt force Raimi to put him in it would have been a great movie I heard originally the guy peter was suppose to face would have been the Lizard hell yea :)

@TheStealthX Not really. It's not a remake unless it follows the same story; i.e. Green Goblin. But Lizard's the villain. Plus, they already have a sequel in the works. (2014)
