I think it's funny seeing all these people talk shit about the new vocalist. I have never liked Veil. I've tried, just couldn't get into them at all. But this is album is so much better written musically (in my opinion) than any other of their albums. And the new vocalist is great. I like singing. I can't stand bands that only scream. Some are good but it's just not my thing, So far this is probably my favorite album of 2015.8 years назад

I used to be one of the proclaimed "haters" of this new direction VoM has taken. But then out of curiosity I went and checked out Lukas Magyar's previous(?) band Arms Of Empire. That experience changed me. No one is more capable, (in fact even capable ENOUGH,) of fronting VoM than Lukas Magyar. His level of talent is absurd, and I am now so glad that VoM has given Lukas this chance to get the widespread acclaim and notoriety his talent deserves. Yes, this guy can be compared to genre peers such as Spencer Sotelo and Chris Barretto, but trust me when I tell you: do not underestimate Lukas Magyar. His career as a touring frontman has only just begun, and in a year or so's time he is going to be annihilating the competition. As the age-old adage states: "Sometimes you have to sacrifice the old to usher in the new," and that's exactly what VoM has always done, and continues to do, with Matriarch. So to those still hating on the new tunes and the new vocalist: were you ever a fan of Veil of Maya to begin with?8 years назад
