I understand the entry-point, ubiquitous songs every artist is associated with (for Van it's Brown-Eyed Girl). But it's songs like this that give you a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the genius of their talent. This song is, in my opinion, the best song I have ever heard Van perform. It is pure channeling from above. Every note, every vocal intonation is perfect. Nirvana. Brilliance. Perfection. Unfortunately, not many of my peers "get" Van. I can only thank Frank for (reluctantly... I absolutely HATED Van Morrison when I first heard him, being a KISS fan and all) opening my eyes and ears to the brilliance of Van.
