Unwound's epic single of negative energy inspired by the CIA's super top secret MKUltra (pronounced M-K-Ultra) behavioral engineering research program. The following lyrics shed some light:"The CIA had a plot to see us dead, in at least what we see as the truth, which was an acid dream to most, was defined by division of the short-sighted enemy. What I know can't hurt me."It's pretty crazy that this was Unwound's first stand-alone single after Sara Lund joined (establishing the definitive line-up); it's slow, dark, angry, and noisy-as-hell. It works as the perfect bridge between the rawness of Fake Train and the epic grandeur of New Plastic Ideas.The B-side, "Totality", is just as noisy and intense, but fast and brief. This mostly instrumental (there's some screamed, unintelligible lyrics towards the end), Black Flag-inspired assault is a re-recording of "Flight Attendant" from their Tim Green-recorded Fake Train demos.This is included on A Single History and Rat Conspiracy and I highly recommend tracking down both of them.

This song just came up on Pandora. My new favorite song. I need to buckle down and buy all of Unwound's albums. Haven't heard a bad song from them. Top bands of all time.
