You just denied what you said in the second sentence with the stuff you said about Anathema in the first one. Respect other opinions,I think Anathema is great,as well as Ulver,as well as Metallica.. If people would listen to the actual music more than writing "lead-to-nowhere-subjective" comments,the World would be a better place.

Well, Death Magnetic doesnt suck, it's just average on the whole. Anathema are ok now, but they've lost their original spirit of the 90s. You can tell Duncan is no longer in the band and for me their sound suffers in that truth. They used to be more original, now they give us second rate Radiohead/Porcupine Tree type stuff. Back in the day, anyone who sounded lik them, copied them, now Anathema sound like a collage of other bands with very little unique identity left. Ulver are forever unique.

@fuji091 I like Load too =) But I wish iit was written as a side project. And I find most songs on we're here because we're here to be extremely weak, and easily their worst stuff. Perdition City though, as you say, is great. It's my joint favourite with the debut.
