Well it's because after two good singles one fair ep and medium-good ost, ulver music became combination of better or worse audio tracks totally fucked by new-wavish vocals. If not for the singing it could be good. But seriously, those vocals are like male variation about how todays music is. I can't focus on words or on the whole medium because mannerism in vocal part is awful.
