Truth. I got my first glimpse of U2 from MTV and a preacher's son who gave me a few cassettes he didn't care for. I listened to them and thought they were OK but nothing more than average. However, I listened to them again and again and every time they got better until I loved them. That was back in 1985 and every album they have put out has been the same to me. First listen, oh OK, second better, listen many times it becomes a prize. This album was no exception. I loved the songs after a few months. Don't know why but it starts alright and ends up fantastic. Maybe it is because they reinvent themselves and have a new sound each time. You can criticize and say it takes too long to like them and that is fine but it is really like fine wine, and I still love all the older albums. Just my two cents. Honestly, give it some time and see if you like it. Nothing for you to lose unless you are really impatient, everything to gain. There are quite a few who probably agree with me. Afraid of going with the crowd? I don't care if am their only fan. I like what I like and I can't change that.

I loved this song right away, but the album as a whole took a few listens to grow on me, and now I absolutely love it. Can't wait to see what they will do with the tour.
