I have family members that think having riches and all things prosperous is what makes u as a human being.Riches and prosperity might make u happy for a while, but to truly be content is to never have to excuse yourself to anyone..U could have millionaires that are discontent with their life and themselves.I use to feel as though I were missing out, now I feel that self love and being true to yourself is the key to feeling happy.. people will use their fortunate life as a means of feeling a sense of authority. that's the trick they missed on Rattle and Hum with God Part 2.Should have been more of a punk album.this is a great song,trashy,punky,angry,shouty....like someone gettting into a pub fight but with a hell of a backing band as the best rock should sound.

This band-U2 they're called-wrote a song for John Lennon-God Part 2-and it's a piece that warns against the trap and social disease called nostalgia-"You glorify the past while the future dries up!" How true, indeed! Lennon would still want Rock to be a vital life force and art form. U2 are the true heir to the Beatles! Thanks Bono for keeping Johnny Rebel's memory alive!

@rianpop Only 25 years old? He was born in 1960. Mid-to-late 90s he was 35 and approaching 40. You're off by a critical 10 years so your point is moot. When he was 25-28 he was doing Unforgettable Fire - Conspiracy of Hope - Joshua Tree Tour. That was his peak, when he could nail Bad in his sleep, right before the smokes caught up with him.
