I messed round with this girl for a couple months after I found out the one I really loved left town. I didn't know I loved her at the time, mind you. I don't even think that the video fits the lyrics. I interpreted the song as being about someone who constantly abuses womeon in terms of sleeping with them but not wanting to have a relationship/ having feelings for another woman. He sorta feels bad about it but he also knows that the girls are doing it also. It's about mutual exploitation. Very melancholic lyrics if you ask me.

I've seen them live two days ago in vienna. Didn't hear anything about them ever before. You can be sure, that they have one fan more in Austria than two days ago. Such a great music. Thank you Conor Oberst for taking those two with you on your tour through europe <3
