I have both Nouvelle Vague's and Martin Gore's version, but let me tell you, Gore's is the best cover. I bought his cover album in '89, and it's still good. You can't beat Martin's vocals--his version is much more raw like the original. Nouvelle's grew on me. At first, I was like what is this cute loungy crap????

Normally I rarely comment or never fight with anyone particular but those people who discovered this song from Nouvelle Vague then insulting this master piece are idiots. At least they should have discovered this song through Martin Gore and compare with his version.

Actually, bosa nova might be easy to listen to, however it's far more complicated to play!! Technically it's way harder than rock, that sometimes needs only 2 chords to create a masterpiece, just like Nirvana did!! I love both, as you said, it's all about the way it makes you feel :)
