How many classic songs have you heard that covered by another artist actually sound better ?? Jimmy was heading towards this type of blend of Jazz,Blues and Soul, when he died because the idiot UK EMS didn't even have the sense to clear his airway before taking him to the ER. What a waste !! if it happened today he probably would have survived, such a shame, RIP Jimmy just like so many others who didn't make it if you only had some REAL friends you would have made it. Same for Amy Winehouse, another great talent cut short.

I can't imagine any song doing to me what this song did the first time I heard this. It was a loooooong time ago. I'm lying in bed alone late at night listing to this for the first time with my headphones on..... the way it moved me was unlike any song I have ever heard. Being like most people, a hard core Hendrix fan. I had heard the song an infinite number of times. This version of the song made me think of him, how sad I was the day he was gone. If I had to define this song with only one word it would have to be "SOUL" But the soulful fluid playing with ease and feeling and her voice....GOD what a voice!! It's things like this that made me "have" to play.
